Englewood is actually part of both Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Englewood beach provides unadulterated views of the Gulf of Mexico, pristine white sands, modern facilities, and plenty of dining and drinking establishments. Just south is Blind Pass Park, an excellent place for shelling and finding sharks’ teeth and on the other side of the pass is spectacular Manasota Key Beach.

Want to get off the beach? Try your hand at parasailing, rent a jet ski, or take an eco-tour of Lemon Bay – you’ll almost certainly see dolphins, manatees, and all kinds of shorebirds and wildlife. Fishing in Englewood is also outstanding and there are several charter services that will get you on the fish every time. Plenty of golf is available in and around Englewood, and there are regional and environmental parks that are well worth visiting.

With its pristine beaches, waterside watering holes and restaurants, stunning sunsets, and direct access to the intercoastal waterway, Englewood is Florida living at its finest!
